Speaking — Mike Simmons · Catalyst

Your team doesn't need more inspiration.
They need clarity they can act on.

Most events leave people energized for 48 hours. My sessions leave your team with a shared language, a real plan, and the momentum to actually use it. This is Learn.Think.Act.™ applied.

Most events leave teams
inspired. Few leave them different.

Your team sits through a great talk. They leave energized. Two weeks later, nothing has shifted. I design for the outcomes that matter. NOT applause in the room, but movement back at your office.

  • Too many competing priorities, and the team leave events without a shared "what's next"
  • Energy peaks during the event and evaporates within days
  • Generic content that doesn't connect to your team's actual challenges
  • No shared language for what good leadership or communication looks like on your team
  • Leaders are inspired to change but don't know where to start on Monday morning
Simple. Clear. Results.

I prepare for every engagement — your audience, your goals, your language. The message is built around the specific shift you need your team to make, not pulled from a slide archive.

The result is a team that leaves with a shared language, a real plan, and the ownership to execute it.

Three things every
session is designed to produce.

It's not about inspiration for its own sake. Everything I build is designed to leave your team with something they can actually use.
What do you want your team thinking, feeling, saying, doing?

01

Clarity on What Matters

A shared picture of the team's real priorities — not a list of 30 initiatives, but the two or three things that will actually move the needle. Built with your team, not handed to them.

02

Tools They Can Use Tomorrow

Frameworks and language that travel back to the office. Communication models, decision-making structures, and problem-solving approaches that work in real meetings. Not just in the room with me.

03

Momentum to Move

A clear next step from every session — owned by your team. Workshops and whiteboard sessions include a built-in action plan. Every format is designed so Monday morning has a direction, not just a memory.

Built for your audience.
Not pulled from an archive.

Every engagement is customized, tailored to you. I do the homework so the message lands with your team, in their language, on their challenges. These are the frameworks I draw from.

Leadership

Looking for Leadership? Start with a Mirror.

A direct challenge to leaders who are waiting for someone else to model the behavior they want to see. Built for executive teams and senior leaders navigating accountability gaps.

Customer & GTM

Design for Customer Experience

How revenue and customer-facing teams build processes around the buyer — not around internal convenience. Practical frameworks for GTM alignment and customer-first execution.

Momentum & Execution

From "What If?" to "What's Next!"

How teams move from possibility to action without losing energy to analysis paralysis. A session for teams stuck in planning mode who need to make a decision and move.

AI & Skills

Skills First. Then Tools.

The foundational five skills that determine whether your AI investment pays off — or amplifies your gaps. Built for leadership teams navigating AI adoption without a clear playbook.

Every format.
One standard.

Whether it's a 45-minute keynote or a full-day workshop, my standard is the same: your team leaves with more clarity than they came in with and a plan that doesn't need a follow-up deck to survive the week.

Keynote
Format — 25 to 55 minutes · Virtual or In-Person
One message. Delivered with conviction.
Built for associations, conferences, and corporate events. I customize the message for your audience — no recycled decks. Designed to shift perspective, not just fill a slot on the agenda. Best for audiences of 200 to 5,000.
Workshop
Format — Half-Day or Full-Day · Virtual or In-Person
Where the real work happens.
Your team doesn't just hear the ideas — they apply them. Half-day and full-day workshops combine framework delivery with live working sessions, producing a real output by the time the room closes. Best for teams of 10–50 who need to align and decide, not just listen.
Whiteboard Session
Format — Up to 90 minutes · Virtual or In-Person · Up to 10 leaders
Your most pressing problem. Mapped and solved.
My signature format. Designed for executive teams and revenue leaders who have a specific challenge and need to leave the room with alignment and a real plan. Faciliated discussions that are guaranteed to solve a problem, design a process, or align on startegy and tactics to achieve a result — built live, owned by your team. Session summary and recording delivered within 48 hours.
Retreat & Offsite Facilitation
Format — Multi-Day · In-Person Preferred
Designed for the margins, not just the stage.
Full retreat and offsite design and facilitation - including session structure, content delivery, and the intentional design of the in-between moments where real alignment happens. I don't just show up for the keynote. I help you build an event that sticks.

Built for leaders who know
something needs to shift.

Event Planners & Associations

Building the Agenda

  • You need a speaker who prepares, not someone who shows up with a stock deck
  • Last year's event got great feedback but nothing changed back at the office
  • You want practical tools - not just a motivational moment
  • You need someone who can flex from keynote to workshop to conversation
  • You want a partner in designing the event, not just a presenter to book
Founders & Revenue Leaders

Running the Team

  • Your team is stuck in the swirl - lots of activity, not enough progress
  • You need alignment before the next quarter starts, not after it ends
  • Meetings pretend to be progress - but nothing gets decided
  • You want a facilitator who will challenge the room, not just reflect it back
  • You need someone who has actually led revenue teams — not just studied them

Mike Simmons

Direct.
Practical.
Human.

Revenue operator, Leader, and IC. Founder of Catalyst. Creator of Demystify Sales, Sales is a Thinking Process®, the Catalyst Leadership Wheel, and the G.A.M.E. Plan™.

25+ years building GTM teams and facilitating high-stakes leadership sessions.

I've spent my career at the intersection of leadership, revenue, and execution. I've built and scaled GTM teams, coached executives across industries, and facilitated hundreds of sessions for organizations navigating high-stakes change.

My style is direct, practical, and deeply human. I don't show up with a script — I do the homework, learn your language, and deliver a message that resonates with your specific team and their specific challenges.

My goal is never inspiration for inspiration's sake. It's helping smart people cut through the noise, get aligned on what matters, and move with confidence.

I typically book 1–2 weeks out for discovery calls. Event bookings are subject to availability — check my calendar →

Three steps to get
me in your room.

No long onboarding. No discovery decks. A fast path from our conversation to a confirmed date.

1

Book a 25-min availability call to confirm fit, format, and schedule

2

I do the homework — your audience, your goals, your language

3

Your team shows up and leaves with more clarity than they came in with

Check My Availability

I typically book 1–2 weeks out for discovery calls. Limited dates available each month.

Everything you need
to know before the call.

What types of events do I speak at?
Company offsites, sales and revenue kickoffs, leadership retreats, association conferences, team strategy sessions, and private workshops — virtual and in-person. Events ranging from 20 leaders to 2,000 attendees.
Is this just motivation or are there real takeaways?
Both — but the emphasis is on the takeaways. Attendees leave with clear frameworks, a shared language, and specific actions they can use Monday morning. The inspiration is a vehicle, not the destination.
Can the content be customized for our team or industry?
Always. I do the homework before every engagement — your audience, your goals, your language. The more aligned the prep, the faster the connection in the room. Customization is the standard, not an add-on.
What does the availability call involve?
25 minutes. I'll ask about your event, your audience, and your goals — and give you an honest read on whether the format and content are the right fit. No hard sell. Just a clear conversation about what would actually work.
What's included in my speaker fees?
Fees range from $4,500 for virtual engagements to $15,000 depending on format, location, and scope. Once agreed, there are no additional charges — I handle travel and expenses on my side. A staff or event pass for the duration of the engagement will be requested during the availability call and confirmed in the contract.
Can we pair a keynote with a workshop or whiteboard session?
Yes — and many clients do. A keynote sets the frame; a follow-up workshop or whiteboard session is where your team applies it and builds a real plan. I'll help you design the combination that makes sense for your event and budget.
