Clarity to Action · Collaborative whiteboard
What you said and what they heard are rarely the same.
Most teams don't have a people problem. They leave without Clarity to Action: a shared decision, then a named owner, date, and artifact. Give me 90 minutes with up to 10 people. Working session, not training.
"There are things that are said.
There are things that are heard.
There are things that are remembered.
Rarely are they all the same."
Mike Simmons · Catalyst
The Problem
The gap between saying, hearing, and remembering is costing you.
Broken handoffs, stalled deals, meetings that feel aligned and then diverge. Almost no one left with Clarity to Action.
One lost deal costs more than 90 minutes. One broken handoff costs more too. That's the math underneath everything below.
About Me
A little about me.
I've spent my career at the intersection of leadership, revenue, and execution. I've built and scaled GTM teams, coached executives across industries, and facilitated hundreds of working sessions for organizations where the strategy was sound and the execution still stalled.
The pattern repeats: smart teams with a real strategy, stuck because the meeting ended without a shared decision and without a named owner. Everyone nods. Nobody owns it. The next meeting re-opens the same question.
I don't facilitate conversation for its own sake. I run the room toward an exit, and the exit is specific.
Force Clarity first: who decides, and what yes, no, or not yet actually means. Then force Action: owner, date, and artifact, before anyone stands up.
The Future
What changes when the room produces Clarity to Action.
A decision the room shares, and an owner, a date, and an artifact attached to it. That is what stops the re-litigating.
Deals move because the next step has an owner and a date.
No more "we're waiting to hear back." The room names who does what, by when, and what proves it happened.
Handoffs carry the decision, not just the context.
The receiving team gets the call that was made and the artifact behind it, so work restarts instead of re-deciding.
Direction leaves the room as action, not interpretation.
Yes, no, and not yet each mean something specific. The meeting ends once, with the work assigned.
The Catalyst Method
Three phases. One exit.
Ninety minutes, structured. We work one real motion that is actually stuck, and we do not leave it abstract.
What You Get
Four deliverables. One exit that holds.

What People Say
What teams say after the session.
Mike has helped our team get their thoughts and perspective out of their head, and on to paper. This created clarity and improved alignment across the team.
We walked out of the whiteboard session with a better understanding of how our work affects and impacts others in the system, and we could see that we are all working for the same purpose.
I realized how my approach to facilitating our conversations was less about getting the team to engage, and more about sharing my perspective. Seeing Mike guide the conversation and reinforce engagement was powerful.
Give me 90 minutes and up to 10 people.
You leave with a shared decision, and
a named owner, a date, and an artifact.

Everything in Plan A, plus follow-through that the artifact actually moved. This is not coaching.
- Everything in Plan A
- Two weeks of follow-through against the named owners and dates
- Confirmation that each artifact moved, or a clear statement that it didn't
- Written close-out at day 14, with what's still open
Listed prices are virtual. Onsite is available; cost depends on scope, travel, and logistics, confirmed before you book.
B is not sold on its own. Accountability only works against a decision the room actually made, so the two-week follow-through is available with the session and not as a standalone engagement.
